This official training program is developed to meet the standards for boating safety education, established by Hawaii DLNR (Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources) HAINAN SURF CO. in partnership is one of the few safety course providers that develops print materials on behalf of government agencies responsible for boating laws and regulations. In this course you will learn the following: Boats and the Marine Environment, Boating Equipment, Trip Planning and Preparation, Safe Boat Operation, Emergency Preparation, Boating Activities etc.
This National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) approved Boating Safety Course for boaters covers everything from Navigation Aids and Emergency Situations to rules of the sea and required equipment. Each of the seven chapters includes a quiz at the end for you to test your knowledge. After reviewing all chapters, you will take a 75 question final exam including 10 questions specific to the boating laws. Pass the exam with a score of 80% or better and you will then receive your certificate of completion.
