At HAINAN SURF CO. we offer a comprehensive instruction course where you will learn from two of the best watermen from Maui, Hawaii twins, Shaun & DK Walsh. This Water Safety & Jet-Ski Rescue Course is designed to be taught in a three-day format. Primary emphasis is placed on rescuer safety and survival.
Course will include ocean, inlet, lake and moving water (Rivers) dynamics; near shore hazards and problems, transport, set up, launch and retrieval procedures for Jet-Ski; construction, maintenance and repair of Jet-Ski, rescue techniques and operations for which the Jet-Ski is used in a variety of environmental conditions.
The course teaches the basic skills for both operator and rescue crewman. It will enable the students to identify clearly their own limitations as well as those of the equipment, so that they will be able to utilize Jet-Ski more safely and effectively.
